Unable to login or Access IFS

Hi we have an issue with teamsite (6.7.1 sp2) in that non of our users included admins can login to the Web UI or access the IFS :

iwtrace there are line items for each user as follows :

Warning:Invalid user.....

in servletd_out :

an incorrect login attempt by XXXXX\xxxxxx

Unexpected authentication failure... (CSException unable to establish connection with server).

i have read on the support site about it possibly being a corrupt entities DB?

Any help would be very welcom.

Windows or Solaris? This is probably due to the fact that your authentication daemon is shut off..

try shutting down iwserver and start again.. this may solve the issue..

else please post your platform..

Sounds like the entities database is corrupted. Just rename the following directory:
/iw-home/local/entities

and then run iwreset -a to see if it fixes the problem.
