Wanting to load default values for a Content Relator CEE attribute

I have a content relator CEE configured on a CTD (CTD_1) that allows for the content selection of 1 to many CTDs say CTD_2. I am looking for a way to load some specific CTDs of CTD_2 to be populated by defaul on attempting to create an instance of type CTD_1.

Has anyone in the KC community tried something similar to any success?

One possible solution which doesn't reauire any customization is using Quick Action for creating a content item, if you are using WEM 8.0 or WEM 8.1.

 

In 8.1 an Admin can create a Quick Action and share it to a group of users so they have access to action by default.
