What do you mean by you "want to use notepad"? Notepad is a client desktop application (a poor one in my opinion) not a web application, which the VFE is. Why do you want to use notepad?

How about using no inline editor? The normal textarea has roughly the same functionality as notepad

Simply put: your "urgent request" can't be accomodated.

Why was this request made? Are there concerns regarding the VFE download, or specific VFE functions? TinyMCE might be a better alternative depending on the problem you are trying to solve.

Thanks for ur reply but In visual formatter for example if i use paragraph and i didn't close the paragraph and click generate, it is adding closing tag for paragraph and generating the view..But i dont want that..Whatever i give in textarea..it should give me the same output.

Personally, I feel well-formed HTML is ideal and all tags need to be opened/closed properly... but I'm not sure what your goals/requirements are.

Whatever i give in textarea..it should give me the same output.

If that's the case, I agree with Nipper: just use a plain textarea. Problem solved.
