Restricting the projections for updates

hi,

I have a table with three colloums A, B, and C. A is the primary key. My requirement is to update B based on a value specified for A. The following is the attribute mapping im using

<attrmap>
column name="A" data-type="INTEGER" value-from-field="map/[0-4]/id/0" allows-null="no" is-url="no" is-replicant="yes"/>
<column name="B" data-type="INTEGER" value-from-field="map/[0-4]/val/0" allows-null="no" is-url="no" is-replicant="yes"/>
</attrmap>
<keys>
<primary-key>
<key-column name="A"/>
</primary-key>
</keys>

Running the above script gave errors. On examiningthe logs i find opendeploy trying to do the following

DoesRowExist Smiley Frustrated

ELECT COUNT(*) FROM MAP_TYPE_1 WHERE A = ? AND B = ?
UPDATE MAP_TYPE_1 SET B = ? WHERE A = ? AND B = ?

whereas it should be

UPDATE MAP_TYPE_1 SET B = ? WHERE A = ?

How do i achieve this. IS there any attribute i have to set.
