Worksite E-Mail Management for Outlook - anything like an SDK?

Hi all

We're just about to implement EMM in Worksite 8.2 with Outlook 2007, and although it is functionally OK, people in demo's seem to recall in horror at the "Send and File" button in an e-mail message.
From the poorly rendered image on the button to the fact that the EMM "ribbon" grabs so much screen real estate we have a number of reasons to create our own button.
At the moment I have no SDK for the product and I am looking for a starting place to at least get the "onaction" code from the EMM button.
Has anyone coded anything on the EMM side before?

Hello Adrian, as far as I know you can modify the registry for hidding the native send button in Outlook 2003 and only showing "Send & File", however from their support website there is a tech-note which says that at the moment this is not possible with office 2007.

So we'll have to wait a bit, I think...

Thanks for the response.

That registry key seems to have been deprecated in the latest releases of EMM (we are using P7).
EMM was clearly designed in pre-ribbon days, as it looks OK in Outlook 2003.

During my searches of devnet and the forums, it appears that not many people are customising EMM - would that be right?

Hey Adrian, I agree with you with people is not customizing EMM, I think also (and this is a personal opinion) that 8.2 version is a small module or a begining of the real product,which is coming soon, that is why maybe it is not very customizable.

What I mean is that EMM will become very important in 8.5 version, email archiving concepts and procceses change a lot, I don't know if you have seen it, but it will be improbed a lot and new features are including it is not only based in "Send and File", EMM is one of the pretty things in 8.5 versions.

We will have to wait one month for the first release...
