Hi,

Are you writing a new workflow or using out of the box teamsite workflow ?

There are examples on using the existing workflows with email.

You can do this through email task or external task. For both the options you can refer to Teamsite documentation.
Would recommend use external task and call a perl file to send emails.

Have you read the documentation?
Have you gone through the iw.cfg file?
What script are you using to perform the email notification?
Have you looked at that script and its associated documentation?
