"Invalid package!!! Module "tsupgrade" did not produce any installer during the build

I am trying to upgrade from TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1 to TeamSite 6.7.2
I am using the installer IWOVts-win-6.7.2.0-Build69626.exe downloaded from the support site.

The error message received is "Invalid package!!! Module "tsupgrade" did not produce any installer during the build"
My operating system is Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition SP2.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to work around this.

i just downloaded the same build and it is working fine, maybe the download is corrupted or something? try to re-download.

When did you download it. I did it yesterday.

If it was corrupted I doubt the archive would have extracted.....

Sometimes it gets corrupted on download - hence you should try to download it again - and verify the size against what it says it should be on the download page.

I got the same error when upgrading from TS 6.7.1 SP1 to TS 6.7.2. But, after re-downloading the installer from the support, everything went fine.

Hopefully, it'll be the same for you.

I downloaded again and got the exact same file byte size:

IWOVts-win-6.7.2.0-Build69626.exe - Windows says:

Size: 1.27 GB (1,370,983,312 bytes)
Size on disk: 1.27 GB (1,370,984,448 bytes)

The Support site says: (This is a 1,307.47MB file)

So I'm not sure if there is a problem here.

I'm taking this up with support, I'll post back here when I reach a resolution.

By the way - love having to login twice to access downloads on the support site - way to go Autonomy.

I ran into this two weeks ago, and had to download the installer using the FTP link instead of the HTTP link in order to get the working installer. Try that and see if it helps.

If so - when you talk to Support you can mention that to them (I meant to do so, but never got around to it)

As for logging in to the support site twice for downloads - I "like" the fact that there's a checkbox for keeping you logged in, but it still requires you to login again if there's a fair amount of time between your interactions.

Clearly the site still needs work - but then the old support site (when it was just Interwoven's) wasn't perfect either...

i always use FTP when downloading from iwov support i guess that is why i never run into this issue.

Those checkboxes are very dangerous. Leaves you wide open to CSRF attacks.
