Why the content instance name appears as RCRD in content console

Hi,

All the content instances in our WEM 8.1 content console of a particular type are displaying the name as GUID(e.g. 79580c7e92ef33101c7e92ef33103d48090a____). It was fine before, recently I am not sure it's because of someone modified the CTD or someone did the exporting/importing for the CTD, but the CTD configuration like default label, searchable... were gone. All the CIs are in unapproved status. Then we have tried to reconfigured these things properly and do sychronization and the CI names in app console are fine, but all the items in content console are displaying as GUID. Now I find only a saving or approving/unapproving action can force it to reload the default label and display the CI name fine.

Do you have any idea on this? Thanks.

Have you tried synchronizing your CTD's?

1. Select CTD in AppConsole

2. click on "Synchronize" in toolbar

3. Select full synchronization option (including workflow status)

4. Monitor synchronization in background operations in system console

Hey Jack, you're going to need to run a synchronize operation to get the MO names updated (from the workbench)

Thanks for the suggestion Evan and Bertrand, yes, I was testing it's related to synchonization and must select the full synchronization option.
