Deployment failure for new DB

Hi

i just made a new entry in database.xml for the new DB created ,but the delpoyment to that DB is failing and showing following msg :-

"Try connecting using jdbc:inetdae:10.28.1.136:1433?database=stg_publicsite&sql7=true...
DBD: SQL failure
DBD: ERROR:ERROR: Could not connect to [jdbc:inetdae:10.28.1.136:1433?database=stg_publicsite&sql7=true]”
"

i have also restarted the OD server ,

pls guide regarding this issue

Well, is something running on port 1433 on server 10.28.1.136 ? Can you connect to it from your PC using a SQL client ?

yeh ,another DB is running on same port ,is that the issue

i am able to connect to this DB and another DB using a SQL client

ok, you have 2 DBs on 1 machine both accessible from the same port ? SQL Server ? I have 3 so that should not be an issue. Are there any user access issues ? Did you try sa ?

actually i am not aware of anything called "sa" ,nothing much is given in pdf also ,can u pls guide where exactly such information is stored as in pdf or some file in OD directory ,also i have checked one of ur previous posts where u have given

uname="sa"
password="password"

i ll try and let u know ,

just one thing ,do u think not setting up DSN can be an issue ,i have checked previosuly all DB have their DSN set up

Yea I meant user sa

That is the system admin login for SQL Server, BTW the default password is also sa

You will need to ask your DB to verify the login/password
