separate web application

Hi there,

is there any way how to run a copy of teamsite web interface (content of webapps, iw-bin etc) in separate space for purpose of testing and development ?
I use NT - IIS. I have tried to move web files to another machine with apache and tomcat but problem is that i do not know, how to configure
rmi open api, so that it point to teamsite server running on another machine.
