Need name/email in content workspaces WEM8.1

I need logged-in user's name and email id in content workspace. I have created a new button in content workspace and on click of that I need to show the name and email id of logged-in user.

I beleive there must be something in vui.vcm.user using which we can get the username and email of the logged-in user inside the clickHandler method of the grid button.

Appreciating any help on this!

There are a couple public apis to get the user name:

ConfigUtil.getCurrentUser()

WfOps.getCurrentUser().getId()

I don’t see a public api for mail.

That’s not public api. If you’re going non-public, you can simply use:

ConfigUtil.getAuthzOps().getEmailForCurrentUser();
