changing the "Sent By" name and "Subject" when emailing assets as attachments

Hello all,

We are in the process of implementing MediaBin 4.6.1 and I was asked to make a change to the "Sent By" name and "Subject" so that it reflects the users real name. For instance, we are connected to Sun's LDAP for the authentication and, and the users uid gets put into the "Sent By" field, and the "Subject" contains the text "xxxxx has sent you a collection of MediaBin asset(s)". We would like to have MediaBin put in the cn for both the "Sent By" and "Subject" field so that it would look like:

Sent By:
John Doe

Subject:
John Doe has sent you a collection of MediaBin asset(s)

I know that it is possible to manually change the field, but we were hoping that we could have MediaBin do that for us. Has anyone ever done this or be able to point me in the right direction?

This information is stored in a xml file on the web server. This xml file is created per user that logs in.

Once you change the values in the Sent By fields, this should update the xml file, therefore next time to access functionality then it will read the new values.

One thing to note is that all email information is the same for all the email functionalities, such as Email as shortcut/attachment etc. So if you change the values while you "Email as Attachment" then these changes will be reflected on the "Email as Shortcut" window and vice versa.
