Problem confining search drop down on ccStd to only indexed branches

Windows 2K3

We have a single branch for DCT's /default/main/myWorkArea
There exists a /iwadmin/main/workflows for our workflow models.

In our solution only branch indexed is myWorkArea configured through branches.cfg. I’ve confirmed this using the clt iwndxlistbr.exe

The problem is that within CCStd, on the search portlet, there is a drop down box allowing users to specify for which areas to search and both branches are appearing in this drop down but really only the first (myWorkArea) has content to search. Why would there be two items in the dropdown when only one branch is indexed?

I've searched through the documentation and the forums and haven't been able to determine where/how to remove/exclude the /iwadmin/main/workflows from the CCStd Search portlet drop down.

Could anyone offer advice?
