Hi,

I am working on TS 6.7.1 on Solaris 10.
In my avalable template, I want to provide access to only one group. So, I have tried the following formats(I have attached with this thread).

I have tried with group_list but it seems it is not working. Can we mix the format prior to 6.7.1 and the new format for 6.7.1 of available templates.

Would you elaborate your requirement in the way that make sense? It doesn't help to find what you exactly want to do.
There is no "command_list" tag in available_template.cfg file. You can check the it's DTD file for available tags.

No - you cannot mix formats.
As Faizi indicated, you're confusing DTDs - It should look like this:[html]

[/html]Note that the attribute changed from 'value' to 'name'

We migrated from 6.1 to 6.7.1 and we didn't change the format of available templates but all the workflows are working fine (Not sure if upgrade includes to update new DTD format). Now there is requirement to include groups to provide access. But I tried to include groups with the previous format using group_list (Like we used to do for users) but in logs we found some warning

if DTD is not supporting previous available_templates.cfg format then how it is working without including groups.
Do we need to change the whole available_templates.cfg format to include group access?

I'm guessing they provided backwards compatibility such that if you write the clause in old-style, you can only use old-style directives, but if you write the clause in new-style, you can use the new-style directives (such as groups). It's difficult to tell, because in the 672SP1 version of the DTD it only shows the new directives. Perhaps the compatibility was only for 671...
