TeamSite and OpenDeploy DAS configuration

We are in need of some assistance to completing our TeamSite OpenDeploy DAS configuration. The following describes the steps we’ve taken, however we aren’t able to achieve the deployment of TS content into the database via DAS.

Executed the following CLT produces the following:

iwsyncdb -initial /phoenix/main/ph/WORKAREA/primary database/car
DBD: 2009-01-12 11:07:17 EST GMT-05:00 thread[DDThread] accepted connection(19)!
Confirms the _dd.cfg] exists.
DBD: ExecDDCmd
DBD: DD command iwdd=basearea
DBD: Command dispatch to DD MessageListner
DBD: Deployment SUCCEEDED

Successful and creates the initial basetables,
However
DBD: DD command mybasetablenameprefix=
DBD: Command dispatch to DD MessageListner
DBD: Deployment FAILED
DBD: Refer to logs for more details.

Log File:
DBD: 2009-01-12 11:07:17 EST GMT-05:00 awaiting msg...
DBD: 2009-01-12 11:07:17 EST GMT-05:00 Deployment Publisher thread running...

Based on the log file it appears the clt can't seem to locate the database.xml file in the etc folder, however the file is there because the tables are generated just fine, could there be an erros in the way the filepath is declared.

Yesterday i was also facing the same problem,all those same errors are coming,the only difference is that you are using command line whereas i am using UI.

All these errors can be resolved by correcting the file car_dd.cfg.

Kindly let me know that Are you trying to do this using UI or manually.
What Version of TS,DD you are using ?

there is file ddcfg_uds.template at the location \\od-home\ddtemplate.This file and datacapture.cfg are used to generate *_dd.cfg(car_dd.cfg in your case).open this file you will have following perl variables

$dbschema
$deltadbschema
$showview
$showpaths
$dropstmts

check that they are properly arranged you error signifies that may be there is something like $ dbschema.

In file ddcfg_uds.template their is element [HTML][/HTML] ,under this we have an sub-element [HTML][/HTML] with the attribute filepath="" ,give the complete path of database.xml as an value to this attribute.

there is an element [HTML] [/HTML] with an attribute [color=black]use="" in your car_dd.cfg,provide microsoft-interwoven as its value if you are using SQLServer as DB.[/color]
there is the same element in ddcfg_uds.template,give the name of your database as the value of attrib [color=black]use="".[/color]

DBD: **ERROR**:com.interwoven.dd100.dd.TDeploymentCfg 103 Deployment "deltagen" contains no destinations
DBD: ERROR:deployment not found

After correcting intial errors these will automatically get corrected.

We are using the following: OD 6.2.0.0.0 Build 69716 Interwoven 20080204 on Win2k3.
I’m using the command line to configure the DAS not UI. According to the [iwddd_???_main_??.log] log file located at: C:\Interwoven\OpenDeployNG\log

The question I have is what TS user is the iwsyncdb -initial command using to initiate the deployment, is it inherriting the permission of the user who initiated the command or a default one?

It all comes down to this according to the log files
