Customising V8.1 EditLive Inline Links

Hi,

Our customer is upgrading from V7.6 to V8.1 (in situ).

They have a number of Ephox Inline Links customisations they need to take over to 8.1 , they are using the ETL format (which i believe is the only format supported in 8.1).

My high level approach right now is to modify the Inline Link CTDs (to cater for the extended attributes) and modify the transformers to handle the building and parsing of the hrefs. 

Is there any documentation on customising inline links in 8.1?
