Page Extended Attribute

Hi,
I am trying to get some of the page Extented Attributes (exactly I am trying to get TeamSite/LiveSite/ID attribute) but couldn't find a way. It is told me that I can get it through JAVA CSSDK but couldn't find. Does any one need something like this before?

Look at the CSSDK API. You can do something like this (assuming you have a CSSimpleFile object): cssFile.getExtendedAttribute(extendedAttributeKey);

i have file1.xml that i want to turn into a DCR using setExtendedAttribute.

how do you get/create a CSSimpleFile object if you running standalone java program on same box as teamsite? (with the includes plz)

Something like this:

CSFile file = client.getFile("some/vpath/to/your/file");
CSSimpleFile cssFile = (CSSimpleFile) file;

The "tricky" part if you're new to the CSSDK isn't getting the file. It's getting a CSClient object to work with.

and as you said, it was tricky to get the file, but once i figured how to get the CSSimplefile, the rest was easy.
