Metadata not showing up

Hi,

I added new metadata field to 'Metadata Manager' using win client UI. After this I added this metadata to one of image in Mediabin using following code:
It runs successfully but when I look for this metadata field on image properties it doesn't show up. Does it get hidden by default? Any suggestions on how to make it visible?

It does not get hidden by default. You might want to do some error catching in your code to see what error your are getting. What is the user id with which you are running the script and what permissions does that id have on the folder of the asset that you are trying to add metadata to?

There is no error message being thrown and the user has full admin access on MB system. What else could be missing?

Can you post a little bit more of the code? May be the entire function?

Can you add the same metadata manually to the same asset and with the same user id using the web client or windows client?

Now it seems to be resolved. It seems it was permissions issue.
