workflows are running slow

From yesterday all workflows are running relatively very slow. It is taking around 30 mins. to go next task, it used to be take in seconds.

I do not think there is anyway to provide useful information to help you unless you are going to provide some information about what exactly the workflow is designed to do. Does it have external tasks etc., is the issue with the deployment, is data deploy involved etc.

We are running into issues with Workflows which has external tasks and also simple example workflows too. They were fine until some time yesterday.

1st question, what changed ? Anyone load patches ? OS Changes ? Networking ?

2 how are the reources on the server ? Is it overloaded ?

Deployments are running normally, import, submission, creating editions are normal,

installed only ControlHub, cpu utilization normal,

My UE showed only 158 External Tasks in this workflow. There are about 70 User tasks, few Group Tasks, CGI Tasks, Dummy Tasks, you name it.
Now, I wonder why this beuaty may cause any performance issue whatever?

Looks back to normal after restarting CH, don't know the root cause.
