SitePublisher and ColdFusion

Currently we are using Forms Publisher to capture content and then using TPL to generate .cfm pages. For preview we are using the proxy setting in iw.cfg to preview against the ColdFusion server. There are some instances where we are also generating XML which gets deployed to the server and rendered by the ColdFusion application.

We now would like to use Site Publisher to make it easy for the content contributors and would like to know if there is a way to generate .cfm pages and how would the preview work within TeamSite.

Please if anybody get provide some pointers on how to integerate and app using SitePub.

Which version/platform are you using? In general you should look out for the 'generate HTML' functionality in the docs and here in the forums. I remember that this could however only generate certain file extensions in earlier releases - no idea if that has been changed/fixed. If not, you won't be able to generate .cfm and need to build something get around that issue.

Overall I would highly recommend rather using LiveSite (the runtime server) than using SitePublisher as an editor only!
