Resize the Dynamic drop down

Hi All,

I have a dynamic drop down in DCT so, could any one please tell me how I can resize the drop down size. because when the drop down is generated it resize and its display formate is not too customize.

I am getting all the things properly in drop down.

Are you talking about a select list field?
What are you trying to customize about it?
I believe it should show all options you have in the list, any time you click on it. Is this not happening? Or is it happening and you want to have it do something else?

You did not attach anything - and you aren't doing a very good job (as far as I can tell) of describing the issue or the desired effect.

What is it about the "display format" that does not seem to be "good"?

I am asking for the width of the drop down.

when the dynamically drop down is created its width is resizable according to the label of the option but I want to fixed it out.

Is there is any way to do so?

I think by default the width of the dropdown itself is set to the width of the longest selection option label available. You could have a "default selection label" who's length is equal to the width that you want for the dropdown menu.

I think you'll have a hard time accomplishing this and it definitely isn't worth the effort you have to go through to get this done. You'll have to track down the css that's styling the selects and alter it to specify the width you want all your select boxes to be (it won't be DCT specific). Then every time you upgrade or apply a patch you'll have to go through the process again.

You just have to accept that select boxes are the length of the longest option in your list and just try to keep those labels short and to the point.

Just modify label to be short otherwise you wast a lot time to solve this issue as HTML.
If you wish spend some an additional time, try to play with CSS for this particular tag.
