OD Receiver Automatic Install

Has anyone here scripted an automatic install of OpenDeploy Receiver on RHEL / Unix? We have a large number of OD Receivers that we are maintaining and are going to be rolling out many more in the near future. As such, we are looking for a way to automate this process as fully as possible. We already have a script that creates the appropriate directory structure including mount points for the application and logs but we are looking for some way to actually run the installer (or do what running the installer does) to get OD Receiver installed and running as a non-root user.

Did you find an answer to this? I am doing the same thing. I tried putting answers in an answers file and running

cat answers | ./startinstall_od

but this doesn't work. It just quits at the first question.

I've tried silent mode, expect etc.. nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?

I haven't tried it - but I would imagine you could probably create and use an expect script for this (though you'll have to make sure you have expect installed on your systems ...)
