Delete Site

Well Just for Development Purposes, One of our Developer has created a Site which is sitting there under SiteMap Menu, is there a way to completely delete it? I Have deleted each and every thing under Primary node and still cannot delete the site.

I mean when a site is created from the SitePublisher tab, it shows up on the lft pane of the window. There are several redundant sites which were used as test sites for our developers, I am trying to clean up those sites? and system wouldn't let me to delete them.

are there errors or is sitepub just not allowing you deletion?

Ans:-

First thing Every site mapping with one workarea.

Go to Content Tab select the workarea, under workarea folder called(site and iw) delete these two folder automatically deleted your site,which is mapping with this workarea.
