Upgrading OD

Hi All,

I just performed an OD base upgaradtion from 6.1.0 TO 6.2.0, after that I found that all new files( eg- odbase, odnodes,deploy.cfg etc) installed under od-home/etc have the extension .new620. Basically,this upgardation process has preserved the previous version files 6.1.0 and placed the new files with extension .new620. So in order to use the new files, shall I just rename the files to remove .new620 and reset the services?
Also, do I need to repeat the same process for other files which may be present in some other folders. If yes, where I could find such files so renaming can be done?
Please advice.

You shouldn't just rename them - you should merge your pre-existing files into the new ones and then rename them (or merge the new ones into your pre-existing files and not worry about renaming afterwards, though I think the former method is easier)

Until / unless you identify other such files - I wouldn't have a master-plan involved - but I think that any such file you found is a subject for a merge operation, not just a simple rename.
