Evening all.. first post. Newbie to teamsite.I am at a new position and found that the company uses teamsite to manage and publish content. first note, im not new to web development (7 years) but am grew up on Notepad and old fashioned text editors (some dreamweaver)... ill start off with a zinger...(teamsite 6.7 i believe we have)when a contributor is creating a new page i can see the tags... now, this page sits within a template that someone create, which already has those tags...is it possible to automatically have those stripped in the webeditpro so that they are not duplicated??

DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"htmlheadtitle /title/headbody/body/html
he said she said...i posted some similar questions on ektrons site and they said that their application is bundled with Teamsite and was configured by someone here and i need to contact them for support...i have read the docs and about the closest fix i can find is by using the:setDocument method, which in the docs says it must contain the doctype, html, head and body tags to properly render the page in the VFE so that the contributor can see what it will look like on the page. If i were to set that function to null or remove it, i dont think the editor will render properly and all the contributors will freak out. So im still diggin in the docs to check on this....but ektron says that v 5.2.0.whatever will have this corrected... date TBD.
