I am curious to know the best way of Fetching, Inserting and deleting data from Database into a DCR. I would appreciate suggestion and valuable comments of achieving this.

Please provide more information.

Are you trying to do this as a batch process where for each record in the DB you need to create a DCR? Are you wanting to have a drop down menu in the DCT which gets populated from the DB?

Please explain your use case.

I assume you want to update DCRs based on the database updates. If so, you can use DataDeploy's concept - Database to XML.

Yea but more importantly he never provided a use case. Is this a one time use ? DD will work fine. Is he looking for continual updates ? Does he realize the impact of something like that ?

Situation is such that I want DCR to be populated from DB also if I update any DCR content and on deployment, DB should be updated accordingly.

Need to undestand about the impact you pointed. What would be the impact and how to overcome them?

We are going to use DD for such implementation and the updates will be continous.

It would be great if you may kindly your inputs in this regard.

you need to get someone experienced in TeamSite architecture and implementation in order to make this properly. The forums will not help you in doing that. There could be a number of solutions - from using DataDeploy to custom scripts
