TeamSite Search - configured DCR / Form types but still no results?

When performing an advanced search on a data type / form type no results are being returned. We also see errors in the log files similar to this one "No matching nodes for: /record/item[@name="record"]/value/item[@name="company"]/value in TemplateType: Content/Contact for the DCR: /templatedata/Content/Contact/data/iwDCR0_081314" for all form fields.

The XPATH is correct in the FieldMapping.xml but it appears the product thinks that the DCR type is iwov and not XML?
