CLT to determine files which are marked as delete

HI All,

Is there any CLT which i Can use to determine whether any of files attached to workflow job are marked as delete.

To get the file status you have iwfilestate CLT.

However as per your requirement, you could check the existence of the file on workarea level within perl by using exists condition. If the file has been deleted and not yet submitted if will give FALSE in return.

Yeah that is last solution which i was thinking of implement if there is no direct CLT to determine whether a file is marked as delete.

If you were already running (or planning to run) a Perl script to run the CLT within - then using a simple '-e' test is going to be wwwwwwaaaaaaaayyyyyy faster than running a CLT - especially if you have to do this on multiple files.

i was going to do the -e thing but was curious to know whether there is any CLT which tells whether a file is marked as delete or not.

you can run a -e on the WORKAREA version, and then also do a -e on the STAGING version.. if its in STAGING, but not in the WORKAREA, its marked for deletion (versus just deleted and never submitted to begin with)

I need to check this only for the files which are submitted previously to staging area and then deleted.

SO checking -e on workarea only is sufficient for what I want to do.
