UAT in TeamSite

When a user ckecks UAT for deployment, does the content get deployed on a different website than live web app server ?
Does it mean that there are two separate web sites , one for checking that content is deployed properly on the website and other one the live web site ?
Is it ok to click UAT button anytime ? It wont disrupt anything on the website ? I noticed UAT button in one system. I am kind of confused and scared of using it.

As far as I know, there is no UAT button which comes with TeamSite Installation. You must have added it as a part of your customization. In order to see what this button does, check the link of that button and try finding it in your UI custom files.

Agreed with Natasha,there is no UAT button provided with TS installation.Teamsite UI Customization allows you to customize the UI,that you can place a button,link,or drop-down etc which can work for you as per your requirement.

Like we have a CLT console ,using which we can run a CLT on Server using TS UI.It opens on click of a link.

Similar things can be done,it's up to you how you wants them.
