Need code to add js file in <head> from componenet level

Hi,

I am adding JS files on component with some conditions. But by default after publish, in HTML ouput those JS files gets called from tag. instead of calling JS files from i want to call from tag.

your response are appriciable.

I am not sure if I understand your question completely. Are you talking about SP components? Your post is under the "FormsPublisher" forum -- so that is a little confusing. Please provide your use case with more details.

This is a big limitation of using sitepublisher. You cannot do much in the head portion of the html.

There are alternatives like opening up the .page file and adding your js or tags via a WF task.

here's my guess as to what he's asking. he has a component that has some conditional statements in it and depending on which one gets called it'll write out a <script> tag pointing to a particular js file. However, he doesn't want it to be printing out where the component is added on the page but he wants the JS file printed out in the <head> section of the output html and not where the component is placed on the page.

that's just my guess(it's friday and i'm bored at work), but they obviously need to format their sentences and thoughts a little better so they are clear as to what they're needing.
