SitePublisher and websphere application
work4u
We are building a site using SitePublisher but don't have Livesite. Can we use a custom application running on websphere to render component or generated page or the .page? Can we still generate asp pages within SitePublisher and deploy it to our custom web app using the workflow. Would we still be able to build the site map or do we need to access the database to retrieve that information. Also is it possible to deploy content to the database captured through a component.

if you want the render .page files in your production web server you need a runtime instance to do so.

what version are you on.
I read in the Release Notes (and that reading really is the extent of my knowledge) that TS 6.7.2 introduces a JSP tag library to display .pages in a webapp. Hmmm, but come to think of it, possibly that tag library requires a LiveSite license as well? ****.
Or you reverse engineer the .page XML structure, and build your own runtime. I read here that it has been done before... although I can't imagine it's much fun.
