Mr_Cruise

Dear All,

I want to add a button to set a blockquote tag from a button. I can add the button but does anyone have a sample snippet to insert a tag ?

Thanks in advance.

ok - I have read the manual some more and I understand that I need to register an event so the command is executed. - eWebeditProExecCommand

It looks like customevents is not loading (or is not enabled) so I just need to figure that out. I managed to get my code working in the file ewebeditproevents.js but changes shoudl not be made to this file!!

Very odd - added a simple alert to customevents.js and nothing. I added an alert to the js file that is loaded before(ewep.js) and it shows.

very odd

I've never been able to get anything to work by adding it to customevents.js, even though it looks like it should. So I've always added my custom events to ewebeditproevents.js (in the same way that's documented for customevents.js) - just as long as you're aware that the file gets overwritten when you upgrade, it doesn't seem to cause any problems.

There is an [thread=14312]old thread[/thread] where we've discussed few options for adding VF Buttons.
You may want to take a look and perhaps try to find something more current or more detailed Smiley Sad

I have come to the conclusion that customevents.js is not loaded and the only option is to update ewebeditproevents.js
