Problems with many external tasks?

Hi,

we are experiencing problems with many external tasks that are started nearly at the same time (we are doing performance tests with jmeter).

Is there a limit on the number of external tasks that can be active at the same time?

The problem we have is that we end up with 90-100% hanging workflows with retry set to false and still about 25% hanging workflows with retry set to true. These remaing workflows are never scheduled. The workflows hang in any of the their tasks randomly.

The tasks execute normally, callback is being made for sure.

We are running TS 6.5 SP3 on Windows 2003 SP1 with two CPU that use hyperthreading.

Hi,

When you execute the external task ,suppose say 2 tasks (calling iwperl) at a time, Do you see the services running on the server (iwperl)
