In the micro audit log file, job ID is mentioned as m40653.

1) When I check the workflow screen in TeamSite, I dont see any jobID like this. Here under the job column, there is an eight digit number like 10665473.
Task IDs under this job are next numbers. Say there are 3 tasks under this job then their numbers are 10665474, 10665475, 10665476. So how do I relate a job ID in micro audit log file with one in TeamSite screen ?

2) If I want to find out what are the tasks in a job under job ID m40653 in micro audit log file, how to find that out ? or how to find details of a job under job ID ? I looked in workflow screen , but I could not find anything. When I use "iwgetwfobj", it says jobID is invalid. So what is a valid job ID, one on the workflow screen in TeamSite or one in micro audit log file. How to find details about a completed job ?

What is the name of log file?
All the workflow events logged in iwevents.log file. In which job id and task id are mentioned in hexa.
Like: if my job id in Teamsite Screen (workflow tab) is 139563 then its logged in log file as hexa 0x2212b (i.e. 2212b). Same for task id.

iwgetwfobj clt command works with both type of id. You may run as iwgetwfobj 139563 either run as iwgetwfobj 0x2212b. Both will give you same result.

That jobid is the deployment jobid - it has nothing to do with workflows. It is an unfortunately confusing term. To verify - run a deployment and from another window - run iwodcmd serverstatus - you'll see the same formatted jobid in the output.

If you want to tie the workflow jobid into your deployment - pass it in as a parameter: iwodcmd start **** -k jobid=10665474 ...

I can find whether deployment is successful or not from micro audit log file.

Now I want to check which job does this deployment belong to, who started it, what are the other tasks in this job and which file is not getting deployed , how can I check this ?

I could not find any job details in any of the OD log files. May I could not search properly or I was looking in wrong place.

Did you pass the [workflow] jobid to the deployment as a parameter? If so - look in the log files for where all the parameters are shown and you should find it.

let me try one more time to spell it out for you:

The person who designed / implemented your workflow and created a script or process to invoke a deployment from that workflow MUST make sure to include a command line parameter to PASS the job information TO the deployment IN ORDER for the job information to show up somewhere in the OD LOGS.

If that was not done, you will not see the information there.

If the workflow developer creates their own log files - then the information may be there instead.

THERE IS NOTHING OUT OF THE BOX THAT DOES THIS FOR YOU.
