workflow approach

I want to design a workflow in which number of review steps are determined at run time . its like consider 6 reviewer from which workflow will be going to Reviewer A and then to Reviewer B .
After that i have to check a string and detrmine which will be the next review step like if in that string i found Review C required then my next reviewer will be Reviewer C and than i will check the same for reviewer 4 if in that string Review 4 required is found that the workflow will be going to Reviewer 4 or if Reviewer 5 is found than it will be going to reviewer 5 . All this reviews are executed in series.Please let me know if anyone worked on similar kind of workflow.

You should give your environment details.
Do you want to:

Get all the reviewers at the instantion screen
Dynamically get the reviewers at run time
End the job upon rejection by any reviewer or go back to the author and start the review process again.
keep the content in workarea/staging for review.

...... There can be many more points you can think of and decide on how you want to do it.

It's not hard to do conceptually. Draw yourself a picture or two. Imagine a *Dispatcher* External Task that all your
Validation Tasks loop back to on approval. In the Dispatcher you can determine what's the next required Task and
transition there, perhaps bypassing some tasks if needed. Finally you'll dispatch out of this loop to some Post Validation
Task. You can maintain Process State in Job Variables, etc...

It is only a rough schema, you'd have to work out transitions in the case of Rejections (you may or may not want
Dispatcher involved in that) and plenty of other details as well.

The problem i am facing is that all my reviews are serial reviews and if i am using any conditional logic to check the next step of review and one of those condition fails in that case i am not able to define the next task .

So, are you asking how to do that from WFT?

You can of course try to code deeply nested if's, in the manner
if(D) link(CD)
elsif(E) link (CE) and on and on...

It is IMO much easier to determine an approval sequence upfront. Something like that:
my @series = ('A', 'B', 'C');
push(@series, 'D') if(D);
push(@series, 'E') if(E);
...

Then you can simply loop to execute "link" calls from the previous array entry to the next.
