Customization of Attach Dependency Task

Hi all,

I have to customize the Attach Dependency Task in OOTB Publish Live Site Content Workflow.

I want to control the Dependencies (want user to choose which dependent files to attach and restrict some file not to attach) .

Has anyone done this earlier?
Please guide me that which all files need to be modified to do this and are there any documentations available for this.
