Information of a staging File

Is there a direct command/way to find the submitted by and submit date information of a STAGING area file?

I thought of using iwattrib vpath submitevent and then use the objectid in command iwevents -n objectid to get the information and then finally parse the returned value to get those 2 values, but the process seems to be long and would take a lot of processing time.

Use iwrlog instead, filter out "modified" (n+) Entry if any. Look at [post=130016]this[/post] post for some explanations.
( Obviously you can not have n+ Version for the File in STAGING, only in WA )

The command returns all the verison information. So is there any option that can tell me about the last version alone or do I need to take the first line of output received from the command and ignore the rest?

Take the first line providing that you execute a command against STAGING vpath

This is what I am running now.

`$iw_rlog -cm $staging_path | grep modified | head -1`

It gives for the staging file path, the last submit info and then I use regex to get info I need.
