SetValue() method not working correctly for radio buttons

alisyedj

In my DCT, I have a radio button with the following options
VPATH, Internal & External

I wrote the following code to disable the radio button and reset its value to "Internal" (index 1) when a User removes data from a certain field. The same code is called from init() to disable fields and it correctly disables the fields and sets the value of the radio button.

var linkType = IWDatacapture.getItem(replicantFieldXPath + "/LinkType");
linkType.setReadOnly(true);
linkType.setRequired(false);
linkSecure.setValue(1);

I see the following error.

iwItem_setValue(2)dcapi_item.js (line 479)

I'm not sure if it matters, but you might try changing the order of these lines:

linkType.setReadOnly(true);
linkType.setRequired(false);
linkSecure.setValue(1);

to:

linkSecure.setValue(1);
linkType.setReadOnly(true);
linkType.setRequired(false);

Although for radio buttons, I'm not sure your usage of setValue is correct (I don't feel like looking at the manual right now - sorry)
