How to compare DCR to null ?

I have component AppearanceXSL file, which displays selected DCR. If DCR is not selected, then it just displays a line. Noe I want to make sure that . when DCR is mot selected, a message is displayed to select DCR. I have worked following code, pls let me know of correction required

Preview and fix your post -- seems like some of the items got cut out or something. Are you trying to compare your DCR is null or not in XSL?
