Accessing an external Webservice using Apache Axis - Operation not found problem

Hi all,

I am trying to access a Web service through some custom Java code , using the Apache Axis framework. The Webservice is hosted externally so all I have to do is make calls to it using Axis but I keep getting the following AxisFault:

The endpoint reference (EPR) for the Operation not found is and the WSA Action =

What is strange is that I can see that my SOAP XML request is properly formatted when using TCPMonitor.

I am still a bit new to the Apache Axis framework, so I was hoping that someone may be able to provide me with some assistance.

My code looks something like that:

Service service = new Service();
Call call = (Call) service.createCall();
call.setTargetEndpointAddress(new java.net.URL(endpoint));

// configure call
call.setOperationName(new QName("http://www.scene7.com/IpsApi/xsd", "getCompanyInfoParam"));
call.setReturnType(XMLType.XSD_STRING);

I hope this may help a bit. For a project I am working on I have the following business requirement:

A workflow should not be kicked off when a deployment from another workflow is already running.

I thought of designing it like this: Use OpenDeploy Content Services Foundation (Web Services) to get a list of Deployments.

This list I will then parse into the workflow instantiation screen in a hidden field. When the user clicks submit, the field will be validated and only when the list is null, then submit will work. If not, then a field is exposed in the screen stating the deployments that are running.

I managed to get the Web Service call working using Eclipse. But ONLY after dropping a teamsite axis jar from my library path. I had axis_combo.jar from OpenDeploy web services and axis.jar from TeamSite both in the build path.

Why am I putting this forward? > All the web service example files that I use, have been generated by axis as well.

So, maybe you should check if you use the correct axis jars provided by Interwoven
