Add custom button in content console

We have custom buttons on app console and we're planing to move to content console. So need to add custom buttons on toolbar of content console.

I'm referring to chapter 2 of Content workspace extensibility.I got the sample codes(attched) and it works. Mainly focus on below two files:

1. /vgn-ext-sample.jar/src/vignette/customer/sample-globals-grid.xml
2. /vgn-ext-sample.war/WebContent/grid/button.js

But it's too simple. And there're no program information in docs. Does someone know how to get selected CIs and pass to jsp.
