how to launch iw.ccpro.launch_edit_form using callout

Hello,

I am using from a textarea instance, the url of which would be another DCR. to open the DCR it uses the iw.ccpro.launch_edit_form.

Could someone please guide me as to how to instantiate the DCR in the edit mode.

Please treat this as urgent.

Might not understood your query correctly, however you can use the following url to open the DCR in edit mode:

http://{serverName}/iw-cc/command/iw.group.ccpro.edit?vpath={completeFilePath}

You need to put your {serverName} as server url and {completeFilePath} as DCR path.

Is this correct way or giving the vpath. Alternatively i also tried :

Instead of iw.group.ccpro.edit I also tried only "edit".

I'm curious, in your first post, you said you were trying to edit a dcr, but this link is clearly to a tpl file, not a dcr. Is that correct?

Either way, you need to include the full path to the file, including server. The easiest way to get this url is to mouse over the "Edit" link in TeamSite and it should be displayed in the status bar. To edit a DCR, the vpath should be in the format:

//<serverName>/<storeName>/main/<branchName>/WORKAREA/<workareaName>/templatedata/<categoryName>/<dataTypeName>/data/<dcrPathAndFileName>

Can you please explain a bit how are you trying to edit a dcr and how are you calling the edit url?
The manual can be downloaded from support site.

You need to specify your steps and requirements more clearly, as i am not clear as what exactly you are trying to do?

The url you mentioned in your code points to a tpl file not a dcr. As pointed out by Jeff, you need to correct the path.
