error in setting value of DCR field using formAPI

Hi all,
I am trying to set the value of one of the field in the DCT on the click of save button using formAPI for which the value is coming from an ipl file .

But it always gives me an error .
I have attached the code and mentioned the error against the line which throws the error .

If some one can help me out

Why don't you just use the same name for pathid and name? You might also want to not put spaces in your name. Keep them all the same and it should be good.

You need to reference the name attribute of the container and item, not the location or pathid.

So this would work:

IWDatacapture.getItem("/article_container/Article id").setValue(params.fileName);

But, as the previous poster stated, it is best to have the name and pathid the same for items and the name and location the same for containers.
