Problem generating with Visual format container in focus

Hi Folks,

I have a curious problem that has occurred during a process to upgrade my TS 6.5 instance to TS 6.7.1 (on Solaris).

We have a DCT that contains a replicating textarea using visual format. This item contains "is-required" validation per:

<textarea required="t"

...etc...

Interestingly, if I am adding some data into a replicant textarea but do not change the focus out of that textarea, then hit 'generate' ... I get an error saying:

Either required fields have not been filled out or fields contain invalid values. The page cannot be generated until this information is completed or corrected in the form.

However, if I change the focus out of that textarea (e.g. to another textarea), then it is OK.

I was wondering if anyone knows if this is expected behavior, as it doesn't happen in our 6.5 installation?
