Images files in synch

Hi,

I'm a newbie in MediaBin, so I have one question on how we are using it. We have images files stored in MediaBin and different branches can select the same image and then do opendeploy and datadeploy. My question is, is there any way that MediaBin can notify when the same image file was modified? if so, can it also update in the in all dcrs it's been linked to?

There is no notification mechanism OOTB. You might be able to build something that runs nightly or something.

I think to get to your point what you are asking is if there is anyway that you can get the latest version of the image from MB into your DCR. I think the answer to that is yes.

From the ECM Connector section of TS admin guide (Page 240 of 6.7.2 windows admin guide):

immediate. Indicate whether (true) or not (false) the selected MediaBin asset file is to be imported into TeamSite at the time it is selected within
FormsPublisher, or whether it will exist as a reference pointer until the Web
page is actually generated. Default value is false.

I'm working with TS 6.7.1, so how can I do it in this version. I want the TS DCR to always get the latest asset from MB.
