What kind of redirection does Optimost use for its clickthrus?
System
This depends on whether we are re-posting a form or not. A simple clickthru (i.e. one without POST information) uses a 302 (temporary move) redirect. In the event that we are posting form information, an interstitial page is created which POSTs the data to the appropriate URL.

The only issue with redirects is that users who click the back button may get the Optimost interstitial page which will redirect them back to the main site.

Does this apply only if you have agency-level debugging enabled? Or across all experiments/deployments etc.?

Actually this applies if you have agency-level debugging disabled. When the agency-level debugging is enabled and you click back button, the Optimost interstitial page is displayed (Pause clickthrus) and you can click back button again to get to test page.
