Scheduling Workflows to run at specific time

Hi,

I am still new to TeamSite/LiveSite/OpenDeploy and I am requesting some advice on the possibility of scheduling workflows to run at a specified time.

Periodically, users would like to deploy content from TeamSite to LiveSite automatically at a scheduled time via OpenDeploy. Does anyone know how hard this task would be to achieve via workflows?

Using TeamSite 6.7.2, LiveSite 3.0.1, and OpenDeploy 6.2.0

Look at the WF manual -- specially timeout options.

Adding a little more detail, what you need to do is put an dummytask before the deployment. You will then need to calculate a timeout value for the dummytask and set it in the WFM.

I have done this many times in WFT, never with WFM, but it cannot be that tough.

Are these workflows just used for deploying or is there any approval process and other external tasks etc.?

If it is only handling deployment you might want to explore the OD scheduler option.

That is correct. It is a customized version involving Approval Groups. Thanks for the help everyone.
