Deployed vgn-ext-sample sample extensions, but can't see custom grid button

Hi,

I'm working on this with support as well, but I thought I would just throw it out there.  I've compiled the Sample Extensions and deployed the war and jar file.  I see the custom Themes appearing, but I don't see the custom grid button.  Once the jar and war file are deployed, should I just see the button 'appear' in the grid view or is there something else that I need to do?
