dnr search index kick
nico
So i've inherited a new Google search appliance and i'm looking for the easiest way to have od notify the GSA when and what was deployed so that it knows to index what has been changed/added.
I'm thinking a deploy and run to talk to a web service is the best way? Just shooting ideas from the hip, don't really know where to start.
How do any of you deal with notifying your search solutions that you have deployed something when you want it indexed?
Thanks,
Nico

Never have needed to for a search engine but I have had to kick the app server to refresh after a deployment. Depending on your backend, use a DNR (if it needs to run on the receiver) or if you can kick it via an HTTP request, you can do it via LWP::UserAgent in the deployment script after the deployment completes.
