I am upgrading and migrating from portal 8.2 to 8.5. I did fresh installation of portal 8.5 and then migrated war, car and other config files from 8.2. I am facing issues with the metastore. Through the site car file, it did create the instance of a custom folder in the metastore, however it didnt migrate a document (vector) that resides inside that custom folder. I also tried to manually run metastore export (old portal 82) and import (to new portal 85) utilities and it gave me an error message saying that there is no change in the metastore config. I also imported the car for the metastore from the portal console. Portal's older versions used to allow the metastore export/import for a specific folder - it doesnt work anymore on the 8.x versions.
Please let me know if you have faced these issues and have any suggestions.
